A Work in Progress

Here’s a bit of the work in progress for my next book, Welcome to Havesden. It’s been a fun project so far and I’m really quite happy with the way this particular page turned out. I hope you like it, too!

And don’t forget my first book, Metal: A Field Guide of Mechanical Armor to Color, is still available. Please check it out!

Back to work on my next book.

So, in the process of working up things for my next book I get this crazy idea update a piece from last year along the way. The Rocketbear piece needs a bit more in the background anyway so why not a skycarrier? Why not kill two birds with one rocket-powered bear?

The Big Kitty is getting there!

This one’s starting to shape up. 🙂

And, if you’re wanting to color any of my mecha work you can grab a book full of it here…

Some Recreational Drawing

Since we all need a break for some R&R I decided to play with a little something that I’ve had sitting in a sketchbook for a while now. Just cuz…

You can find more mecha art in my book… Metal: A Field Guide of Mechanical Armor to Color

Mr. Smoke and More

Here are a few more pieces of work in progress for my new project, Welcome to Havensden. I’m sure you can figure out who the enigmatic Mr. Smoke is…

Working Up The First Page

Here I’ve started working toward the first page for Welcome to Havensden. This character’s name is Rip Skyclaw. He’s an idea from a couple of years ago when I started toying with this idea. His plane, The Bearded Lady, figures prominently, of course. This guy’s obviously a pilot.
